ICIC is the voice of Union Commercial Contractors in Illinois. We represent hundreds of union contractors who employ tens of thousands of skilled trades people and produce billions of dollars in economic activity throughout the State of Illinois.

Vibrant Economic Development that attracts investment in the State of Illinois and creates activity in multiple sectors such as multi-family residences, office buildings, healthcare facilities, warehousing and logistics, hospitality, and data centers.
About ICIC
Our advocacy is rooted in improving the economic conditions in which our contractors operate. That advocacy is based on guiding principles that are connected to our members' economic sustainability - whether it be by directly fighting any increases in fees and taxes, to resisting laws and regulations that increase their indirect costs and make it harder to get a project built.ICIC always advocate for a good business climate. We work hard to have good relationships with elected officials and always endeavor to work with our union partners collaboratively to reach solutions.
